Scheduled primarily from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, five nights per week with scheduling flexibility based on operational needs, the Overnight Security Officer conducts routine patrols, secures resort buildings and facilities, responds to guest and employee concerns, and partners with other departments to ensure seamless overnight operations. This position plays an integral role in protecting the resort while delivering the exceptional service standards expected of a Forbes Five-Star luxury property.

• Ensure all buildings, offices, amenities, and designated guest accommodations are properly secured after departmental operations conclude. Verify that doors, gates, and restricted access areas are locked and that unoccupied villas or facilities remain secure throughout the evening.

• Complete a detailed nightly security report documenting patrols conducted, maintenance concerns, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, guest interactions, security incidents, and the resolution or follow-up required for each item.

• Promptly communicate any maintenance deficiencies, safety concerns, or operational issues requiring follow-up to the appropriate department through established reporting procedures.

• Respond professionally and efficiently to all guest and employee emergency calls, disturbances, medical incidents, and safety concerns while following established resort policies and emergency response procedures.

• Receive training and maintain proficiency in guest incident reporting, including proper documentation, investigation procedures, evidence gathering, witness interviews when appropriate, and timely completion of incident reports.

• Maintain a visible security presence throughout the property to deter unauthorized access, minimize risk, and provide assistance to guests and employees whenever needed.

• Cross-train and provide operational support for the Gatehouse Attendant position. Cover meal breaks and scheduled absences as assigned, ensuring all guests, visitors, vendors, and contractors entering or exiting the resort are properly greeted, verified, and documented in accordance with resort access procedures.

• Assist with Bell and Valet operations after the Bell/Valet team concludes service (typically 11:00 PM or earlier). Responsibilities include safely parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with guest arrivals and departures, supporting overnight check-ins, luggage assistance, and providing resort transportation services when requested.

• Assist with all Lost & Found inquiries and property by ensuring found items are properly documented, logged, securely stored, and returned to guests in accordance with resort policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and accurate recordkeeping.
